Diet Coke, You are dead to me!

Diet Coca-Cola, a highly addictive and wonderful sugar-free soft drink, was overly sweetened with aspartame earlier this morning. After many attempts, Dr Pepper was unable to save this sugar-free soda.
Diet Coke was born in 1982. This tragic passing took place in Taylorsville, Utah.
This nectar of the Gods was produced and distributed by the Coca-Cola Company and shortly after its release quickly overtook its cousin Tab in sales.
Diet Coke had many rivals, most notably the wicked Diet Pepsi.
She is survived by many similar varieties such as Diet Coke Black Cherry Vanilla, Diet Raspberry Coke, Diet Coke with Lemon (who sadly is still alive), Diet Cherry Coke, and Diet Coke with Lime.
She was full of life and bubbles and her fizz will be missed by many. Most notably, she will be missed by her #1 fan, Holly McAffee who has refused any other sodas in her stead and will stubbornly stick to water and Crystal Light. Due to her decision of a watery grave, no funeral services will take place, but a moment of silence will be observed each and every morning at precisely 9 AM, and possibly at any other times random cravings may occur.
